"Hi-End Series Programming
The Hi-End series has dual set points: one digital, and one that can be analog. To program, first set the transmitter the desired distance away from the target. For a single output on output 1, press and hold push button 1 until the LEDs flash green at 1 Hz. Then, press and hold until the LEDs flash yellow at 1 Hz. The LEDs will flash green at 5 Hz when the teach has been accepted. To teach output 2, press and hold the teach button until the LEDs flash green at 2 Hz indicating output 2, and repeat the same steps.
To program output 2, press and hold push button 1 until the LED flashes green at 2 Hz. Move the target to the start of the range, press and hold push button 1 until the yellow LEDs flash at 2 Hz, move to the end of the analog scale, then press and hold push button 1 until the green LED flashes at 1 Hz. The 5 Hz green flash indicates that your teach was accepted.
Output 2 can be configured as either current (4 to 20 mA), voltage (0 to 10 V), or a single switch point. To set, press and hold push button two until the yellow LED flashes at 1 Hz for current, 2 Hz for voltage, or 3 Hz for a single switch point. A 5 Hz LED green flash indicates a successful teach.
To set the output logic, once again press and hold push button 1 until the LEDs flash green at 1 Hz, indicating you have entered the parameterization of set point 1. Press again and hold until the LEDs flash yellow at 3 Hz, then let go. Green LEDs at a frequency of 5 Hz indicates that it has been set at normally open, while yellow LEDs indicate normally closed. The same sequence holds true for setting output 2 when it is configured for a single switch point.
To set the sensor to retroreflective mode, first position the sensor and reflector within the sensing range. Then, press and hold push button 2 until the LEDs flash yellow. Let go and the LEDs will flash green at 5 Hz, indicating a successful teach. This mode will trigger an output when something passes between the sensor and the reflector regardless of the position in that zone.
To reset to factory defaults, press and hold push button 1 until the LEDs flash green/yellow at 2 Hz. Release, then press and hold until the LEDs flash green to reset. Then, press and hold push button 2 until the LEDs are flashing green/yellow at 2 Hz, then let go. A 5 Hz green LED blast indicates a successful reset."
